Integrations FAQs
Here is an overview of users’ most frequently asked questions about APS imports, exports, and integrations.
An import allows a user to import payroll data from a third-party system into APS for payroll processing. The most common import we offer is time information from a third-party attendance system into APS.
An export allows a user to export data from APS into a third-party system. The most common export we offer is General Ledger data from APS into a third-party system.
An automated export is where an export file is generated at scheduled dates and times and delivered to the end user via a connection established between APS and either the client or third party. The most common automated export we offer is with 401(k) administrators.
A 180 integration provides an automatic feed of 401(k) elections post payroll to the recordkeeper. The file is generated from our system and imported into the recordkeeper system each pay period.
A 360 integration provides incoming data on 401(k) election changes into APS and outgoing data into the recordkeeper post payroll. These integrations require development work to set up the automated feed between APS and the recordkeeper.
